Fantastic overall experience. Wonderful and absolutely great hotel located very close to downtown, all attractions and many very nice restaurants in the Penn State area, and State College for a quick COVID-19 getaway. Excellent breakfast with a wide array of hot/cold dishes. Superbly friendly staff and favourable location in an elegant restaurant with beautiful linens!

The king suite was spacious and very nice. The bathroom was great! The complimentary breakfast was fabulous! The details of the building were very nice. I enjoyed the spa. It was a great trip! I have already recommended the facility to any friends/family who happen to be visiting the State College area.
I thought the check in area was weird. It appears you are trying to make it look like a house instead of a hotel, hence no formal registraton area, but the office is messy and would not be easy to manuever if there were multiple guest checking in at the same time. You have that nice desk out front. That could be set up more formally for registration which would be a step up from the office area.

They made a huge mistake with our bill and over-charged us. Took considerable time to correct but did so graciously.

Had a blast staying with friends! We loved the cozy rooms and the great service. The atmosphere was perfect after a day of golfing at the nearby Toftrees Golf Course and hitting up some local spots. The food smelled amazing from the dining area, and I wish we'd had time to grab a meal there. Definitely would recommend this place for group getaways.
We didn't get to dine at the chef's table this time, disappointing. I heard amazing things, and it sounded like a fantastic experience. But hopefully, on our next visit, we'll make it a priority.
